Mandalorian outfit wiped out by unknown assailants in Tatooine City
Mandalorians wiped out by unknown assailants in recent Tatooine attack. Who were they, and why they'd do it?
At around 4:00L Galactic Standard Time today, a battle raged out between local Mandalorian outfit warriors and an unknown party of assailants.
The motivations and perpetrators behind the attack are presently unknown, and no local clans have spoken up to take credit.
Local citizens of Drum, a small war-torn strip of Tatooine, reported hearing "yelling and intense blaster fire" between the Mandalorians and, as they describe, "cloaked men". Several eye-witness reports detail seeing shimmers of light "dancing around the Mandalorian fighters". Some locals report seeing men clad in "black armor", though they furthermore state they're unsure their affiliations.
This attack comes just weeks after complaints from locals hit Tatooine governance, complaining about heightened crime rates and other suspicious activity with the recent arrival of the Mandalorian gang. Some suspect the attack was carried about by no more than Tatooine natives who simply "had enough".
Not a word from the Mandalorians has been heard since.
